You will leave your home in the morning and drive to your first scheduled home of the day to clean.  You cannot claim mileage for this drive as it is now your drive to work.  When you have unloaded your supplies and are ready to enter the home, please clock into Tsheets and Launch27.

Should you be required to stop by the office in the way to your first home, you would clock into just Tsheets as soon as you arrive to the office to get supplies, then clock into Launch27 when you arrive at your first home.  You Can claim mileage from the office to a home or from a home to the office.

You will remain clocked into Tsheets between homes unless you take a break or stop for lunch.  All lunch breaks and unnecessary stops count as a break. I.e. stopping for gas is necessary and you would not clock out for this.  Stopping for a smoke break or to eat lunch would be a break.

Do claim mileage between homes through out the day.  If you drive from your first home to your second home, you will need to claim the mileage for this drive.  If you leave a home and need to stop by the office for supplies, you will remain clocked in and claim mileage for that drive as well.

When you are finished with your last home of the day, clock out of both Tsheets, and Launch27 and drive home.  You cannot claim mileage for this drive as this is just your commute home from work.

Have a question?  Just slack it!  It’s better to be safe than sorry.
