Anniversary Dinner ideas in Denver
Denver is filled with hundreds of amazing (and some not-so-good) eateries and picking just the right one for your anniversary can be difficult. Whether you’re looking for something fancy or something fun we’ve got you covered.
If you’re looking for Fine Dining you can only find in Colorado
Fruition Restaurant
My favorite anniversary dinner restaurant is Fruition. Fruition provides highly rated farm-to-table New American cuisine
worth spending a little more on. I promise that you can taste the quality in the ingredients. I also enjoy their selection of
beverages from craft cocktails to beers and ciders. Try the garden grove if you are into gin drinks. Definitely make a
reservation ahead of time to ensure you can get a table and plan for the 20% operations surcharge that is added to all orders.
Guard and Grace
With over 2,000 five star reviews it’s clear that I’m not the only person raving about the Guard and Grace. Their food is to
die for and unlike many other fine dining experiences Guard and Grace gives gracious portions so you know everyone
will be leaving full and happy!
If you’re looking for something romantic on a budget
Gaetono’s
My favorite Italian restaurant in Colorado and the first place I mention when clients ask for recommendations is Gaetano’s
Located in a building that was once a hub of illegal activity owned by Colorado’s most famous crime family there’s a fun
little mob air while still providing amazing Italian cuisine and a warm and romantic atmosphere. If you really want to get
into the mindset of a true mob boss try their Tommy Gun, made with bourbon, Dolln Rouge and Campari.
Linger makes a great choice for couples looking for a dinner experience, their expansive outdoor patio has some of the best views of the Denver skyline, and their menu, which features a variety of dishes inspired by flavors from all around the world which is great for someone like me who’s cravings can change in an instant! Overall, Linger is my favorite place to be surrounded by a lively crowd with more drink and food options than one patron can eat! Even if I won’t let that stop me from trying!
If you’re looking for a unique anniversary celebration
With a heavy focus on amazing atmosphere and drinks Ghost Donkey is the most underappreciated bars in Denver! I love the fairy lights hung throughout the restaurant and the limited menu of Mexican cuisine that pairs perfectly with their amazing mezcal and tequila cocktails that are guaranteed to make your anniversary a fun one! The sta at Ghost Donkey is very knowledgeable and can make recommendations for anyone unsure of how to tackle the menu and from my experience they’re more than happy to take pictures for you surround by the beautiful lights and decor to commemorate your special day!
Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the vibrant nightlife scene in Denver. With its unique atmosphere, innovative menu, and live music performances, it’s a one-of-a-kind spot that’s sure to be a hit to anyone who has a little vintage air. With plenty of drinks and menu options that will make you giggle there’s plenty to enjoy while watching a local artist perform. They have a very extensive sober curious menu which is a great choice for anyone looking to have fun responsibly while still having the fun flavors of an alcoholic cocktail and for an alcoholic beverage their I recommend their Hawaii 5-Oh! I have genuinely been craving it since the last time I went and will be going back just for that!
After dinner drink anyone?
As you walk through the doors of Retrograde, you’ll be transported back in time to the glamor and glitz of the 1950s and 60s (if you’re anything like me you will be tempted to wear a mod outt every time you go) and their drinks are unlike anything you’ll nd at any other bar. If you’re looking for a place with live music and DJ’s where you can drink and party the night away with the love of your life, this is the place to be!
Williams & Graham is a speakeasy-style bar hidden behind a bookstore taking you guys back to prohibition times. It really has such a cozy, old school atmosphere making it such a romantic place that will no doubt be a perfect stop on an anniversary! With small plate items, a large list of cocktails, and a closing time of 1am I would highly recommend this place for a post dinner drink
